Long live the queen...

Today is a very sad day. Mom passed about an hour ago. Her heart couldn't take it any longer. Thanks you all for all your support, prayers and love. We are all still in shock and will be for a while. I guess she's where God wanted her to be and I'm at peace with that. We will keep you all posted on what's next. Thank you all again for everything. My mom will always be a class act and a great person. Long live the "Queen!":) I love you, mom!

  10. Kate & Nick,
Your mom will live on in the hearts of SOOO many lucky Ludington people who learned so much from her!! EVERY time I recognize a tree, I think of her! She was absolute my favorite teacher at Lakeview and I was so happy to reconnect with her on Facebook. I hope you are able to take some comfort in knowing she is God's beautiful angel.

  11. Kate & Nick,
I am terribly sorry to see this news. She was an important part of my college days and I will miss her greatly. Her family was the most important thing in her life; I am sure she was proud of you both.

The next few days will be hard, but you will both be OK.

  12. Kate & Nick,

I am so sorry to hear about your Mom. Whenever we were in Ludington and having lunch at the brew pub, we would quite frequently see your Mom there. She would always come over and say hello and visit with us. She was a great person, and I just want you to know that I will be praying for you guys.

  17. Kate and Nick,

I'm so so sorry to hear about your mom. Frankly, my mom and I are both still in shock. Your mom was a genuinely beautiful woman in all senses of the word. You'll be in our prayers and (although I know its cliche) if there's anything my family can do to help you out, please let us know.
    Much love,
    Bethany
